One area of focus for renovations that we often recommend is the front entry door. In many of the older, more established areas of the region, the front entry door is 75 or 100 years old. These old doors, while beautiful, are often very poorly insulated and are leaking cold air throughout the winter. Some of these doors can be repaired but it’s often more cost effective, in the long run, to replace the door. If you like your current door, we can replicate it using insulated glass, insulated wood panels and a proper weather seal to keep the cold out. We’ve had numerous customers tell us they more than covered their investment when it came time to sell. After all, the first feature your guests, and someday your potential buyers, will see is your front door.
